About Wauwatosa Shock

Wauwatosa Shock is a competitive youth fastpitch softball organization founded in the fall of 2012. Our mission is to provide our girls with the opportunity to develop their softball skills and knowledge to prepare them to compete at a higher level. We do this by providing high quality coaching, in a positive atmosphere and through participating in competitive league and tournament play.

True to our name and our mission, 76% of our players for 2021 live in either Wauwatosa or Milwaukee or go to a school in Wauwatosa or Milwaukee.

Our club is committed to the development of the whole athlete. Our foremost goals are for our girls to fall in love with the game of softball and to appreciate what it means to “honor the game.” We take great pride in providing a fun and supportive environment for our girls and in helping them to achieve the confidence they need to accomplish their personal best, both on and off the field.

We are a community-based organization and want our teams to be Wauwatosa based, but we do not have any residency restrictions. All are welcome to try out for our teams.

Shock "graduates" give thanks with video

In 2018, our "graduating" U18 team  offered a wonderful gift to our club in the form of the above video that highlights the values of Tosa Shock. It's a love note to everyone who has helped these girls become great athletes and great young women, guided by the tremendous leadership of their head coach, Brian Brophey.
